Course Outlines

Our classes are held on alternate Saturdays, in London, convenient for those in full time employment. An HNC course lasts for 32 weeks. This typically is comprised of 16 days onsite, plus 16 days self directed study. Tutorials are face to face during class days or online.

Our blended learning option works well for learners unable to come into London regularly. There is appropriate support plus the opportunity to attend studio sessions and benefit from face to face tutorials.

An HNC will require the learner to complete 4 assignments, each covering 2 units. The content of the course is designed to reflect current industry practices and therefore has a strong creative industry ethos. It will normally take 32 weeks to achieve the appropriate credits either through onsite learning, distance learning or a combination of both. We limit class size to only 8 students, ensuring individual attention.

There is full academic support to enable learners to achieve the required standard at this level, not just in their practical work but also with their written work.
We currently offer an HNC and an HND in photography. Our courses are accredited by Btec Edexcel and have as recently as March 2017 been inspected and fully approved. An HNC costs £2450, including exam registration. An HND is achieved over two academic years being £2450 per year. A non certificated version is available which offers the same teaching experience without the academic requirements, this is priced at £2150.

The HND is a continuation from the HNC and is a level 5 qualification. The teaching and learning model is similar to the HNC and the timescale is the same, we also teach this via distance learning.

The course is available either through onsite or online teaching. Please contact our tutors through the contact page for details. An HND costs £2450 per academic year, including exam registration.
